Mr. Lacour oversees Aurora's Santerre portfolio of roughly 300 seniors housing facilities, skilled nursing facilities, medical office buildings and hospitals across the U.S. and the U.K.

 

Prior to Aurora, Mr. Lacour was a Managing Director at Fosun Group (656:HK) and the CEO, President & Board Member of its healthcare real estate asset management platform, Everest Healthcare Properties.  Previously, he was the Vice President – Investments and M&A at Welltower (NYSE:WELL), where he oversaw Sunrise’s $6 billion seniors housing portfolio, as well as acquisitions & development of seniors housing and MOB assets, and M&A of REITs and operators.

 

Mr. Lacour has over two decades of healthcare and real estate experience, having closed over $5 billion in real estate transactions with top REITs, private equity funds, and investment banks in North America & Europe.  He began his career as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank (DBK:GR) and Barclays Capital (BARC:LN) in London, and has served as an executive & board member for a number of companies and JVs.

 

Mr. Lacour holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at UPENN and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Buenos Aires.
